Marvin Tarlton, President and Director of Administration
With more than 35 years of experience in Sales, Management, and Administration, Marvin has what it takes to ensure your home building experience goes smoothly from start to finish. Marvin will work with you through all aspects of your build, from securing required permits and paperwork, to explaining each step of the build, to ensuring everything to your satisfaction, as promised. Marvin is committed to making his community and the world a better place to live. He is one of the original founders and Executive Director to Operation Save, a 501c3 Non-Profit organization that provides Shelter, Agriculture, Vocation and Evangelism along with medical assistance to those in need in Malawi, Africa and locally in North Carolina and across the US.
Patrick Tyson, Vice-President and Director of Operations
With nearly 15 years of specializing in new construction with national home builders, Patrick utilizes his in-depth knowledge of new home builds to make sure his clients’ homes are built properly, with quality materials and craftsmanship that exceed expectations. As a licensed residential and commercial General Contractor, Patrick understands the requirements of each phase of building and oversees all work on the job site to ensure everything is completed as it should be, within all safety and compliance guidelines. When he’s away from the job site, Patrick works with children as a Master Black Belt in his Tae Kwon Do studio based in Monroe, NC, and volunteers with Operation Save. Patrick, his wife, and four children aspire to fulfill God’s desire for their lives and make a positive impact on those they are blessed to work with.
Sandy Fine Helms, Office Manager and Bookkeeper
With 40 years of experience in sales and service, Sandy takes pride in working with Cornerstone as the office manager and record-keeper. Sandy communicates with clients from start to finish, making sure to answer questions and address any needs homeowners have. With her eye for design and certification in Interior Redesign and Staging, Sandy can make the inside of your new house feel perfectly like home. Outside of work Sandy enjoys spending time with her husband, grown children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
